Canceling an OnlyFans subscription is straightforward once you know where the controls are. The process differs slightly depending on whether you want to stop one creator's renewal or remove your account entirely.

How to Turn Off Auto-Renew for a Single Creator

Open the creator's profile page on OnlyFans. Below their banner, look for the "Following" or subscription status button. Click it to reveal the option to turn off auto-renew. Once disabled, your subscription stays active until the current billing period ends — you do not lose access immediately.

This is the most common approach. It lets you keep browsing the creator's content through the end of your paid period without being charged again.

Canceling Through Your Subscriptions Page

Go to the main OnlyFans menu and select "Following" or "My Subscriptions." This page lists every creator you currently subscribe to, along with renewal dates and prices. Each listing has a toggle or menu to disable auto-renewal individually.

If you subscribe to multiple creators, review them all. OnlyFans does not offer a "cancel all" button — each subscription must be managed separately.

What Happens After Cancellation

After turning off auto-renew:

  • You keep access to that creator's content until the billing period expires
  • DM history remains visible through the end of your subscription
  • Purchased PPV content stays accessible even after the subscription lapses on most accounts
  • Tips and one-time purchases are non-refundable

You will not be charged again unless you manually re-subscribe.

Deleting Your OnlyFans Account

If you want to remove your account entirely rather than just canceling subscriptions:

  1. Cancel all active subscriptions first — the platform will not let you delete an account with active paid subscriptions
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
  3. Confirm the deletion. This removes your profile, payment methods, and message history

Account deletion is permanent. OnlyFans does not offer account recovery after deletion.

Refunds After Cancellation

OnlyFans generally does not issue refunds for subscription time already purchased. If you cancel mid-month, you receive access for the remainder of that period but will not get a partial refund. Chargebacks through your bank are possible but may result in your OnlyFans account being permanently banned.

Managing Spending Without Canceling

If your goal is spending control rather than full cancellation, consider:

  • Removing your payment method after subscribing to prevent impulse renewals
  • Setting calendar reminders before renewal dates to review which subscriptions are worth keeping
  • Using the free creator search to find creators with free tiers before committing to paid subscriptions

Common Issues

"I can't find the cancel button" — OnlyFans occasionally updates its interface. The cancel option is always accessible from the creator's profile page or your subscriptions list, but the exact button label may change between app versions.

"I was charged after canceling" — Check whether you canceled before or after the renewal date. Cancellations processed on the renewal date itself may still trigger a charge depending on timezone differences.

"My subscription disappeared" — Some creators delete their accounts or go private. If the creator's page no longer exists, your subscription ends automatically and you will not be charged.
